Those little round things reside in a category called "only exists in cartoons," along with non-springy clothespins and a whole bunch of other little objects that I can't think of right now.
Oh yeah, "smelling salts."

Any kind of sandwich "on rye"
Cartoon sandwiches always look so good. Especially Garfield sandwiches.
Remember on Today's Special Sam always had a liverwurst sandwich? That always sounded good for some reason, even though I hated liver and have no idea what wurst is.
